From Designing Spaces to Shaping Experiences
My journey began in architecture, where I explored how physical spaces influence how people live and interact. Through my work in the furniture industry as a researcher and strategist, I began to see how design shapes culture, tells stories, and creates experiences.
Now, I’m continuing that path in UX.

Putting myself out there!
Moving from Seoul to a new city to start grad school meant starting from scratch. I started with hands-on campus jobs - dining assistant, then roles with more impact like coordinating accessibility services for the university, and teaching assistant. I wanted to understand how systems work in different corners of this new world, not just learn from a classroom.
Balancing coursework, part-time work, and adapting to a new city pushed me forward. Along the way, I secured internships in my field. It's been a season of learning to show up, adapt quickly, and stay curious.

Years of growth in the workplace 👩💻
from 2019 to 2024
Building trust!
In the workplace, I learned what I’m good at, where I struggle, and how to recognize those in others. That became the foundation for how I collaborate, knowing when to step in and when to trust others’ strengths.
Growth often came through messy moments, where I learned to work through challenges with a steady approach. As I learned to handle uncertainty, I built trust, not just in others, but in my own judgment and choices.

Architecture school Mindset 📐
from 2013 to 2018
Where it all began..
Architecture taught me to question the world and think about how I can contribute. It also taught me to invest time in ideas I believed in, and to turn critiques into something to learn from, not fear.
That mindset of asking 'why this way and not another' still shapes how I approach problems today.

I collect stories in my free time.
Books 📚, movies 📽️, podcasts 🎧, and more. What I enjoy even more is documenting them.
Since 2021, I’ve been maintaining a personal archive in Notion to rate, tag, and revisit these stories. Documenting helps me see both the bigger picture and the details—what themes repeat, and which ideas stay with me.
It’s not really a productivity system, but a reflection habit, a way for me to appreciate the work of creators I admire!
